UAE. In 2001, ECG won an international state sponsored competition for
the development of Smart Village-Egypt’s state-of-the-art information &
communications technology business hub. This represented another
important milestone in the success story of ECG. By 2005, ECG’s Dubai,
Qatar, and Sudan Branches were established. Today ECG takes pride in its
track record of more than 2,000 projects successfully completed in 34
countries, with a substantial growth in workforce to more than 2,300
engineers and professionals.
Q: How were you promoted to hold the position of Vice President / Head
of Business Development Division? A: I joined ECG as an architect in
1998, and I have worked my way up the corporate ladder since then. In
2003, I was appointed Projects Manager, and that further enhanced my
practical experience in project management. I was promoted to Projects
Management Division Deputy Head in 2009, and then Vice President &
Projects Management Division Head in 2011. I have assumed my current
position as Vice.
President & Business Development Division Head since 2013.
Q: Over 45 years, Engineering Consultants Group (ECG) has managed to
achieve great development to be ranked No. 105 worldwide, according to
the classification of ENR magazine and was also among the Top 10 in the
Middle East. So, what is the secret behind your success?
A: The most important factor contributing to our success is the quality
produced by our staff members. ECG is dedicated to total quality, ensuring
that the highest level of technical competence is achieved in each and every
awarded project. We also make sure that our recommendations to clients
stand as the best and most appropriate solutions meeting their needs.
