At ECG we are keen to be ahead of our competitors in applying innovative
software and engineering technologies in projects, which gives us the edge
and makes us one of the most successful consulting firms in the MENA
region.
Q: What is your plan of contracts for this year? A: This year we aim to
achieve EGP 1.4 billion worth of new contracts.
Q: How many branches do you have in Arab and African countries and
France? And how do you plan to enter other European markets? A: ECG
has 4 local branches in Egypt, 12 branches in the Arab World and Africa,
and one branch in France. ECG entered the European market for the first
time in 2000 with a project successfully completed in Albania. In 2013,
ECG established a branch in France as its first branch in Europe. The
branch is now undertaking a strategic touristic development in Lanobre.
Q: Do you have any plans to open new branches soon? A: We are always
looking to expand our business to new markets. We are currently in the
process of establishing a new branch in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. However,
our services are already extended to more than 20 countries that do not
have ECG branches.
Q: You take part in infrastructure projects, including the projects of road
and water networks. In your point of view, how well is Egypt’s
infrastructure? And what are your plans tailored for developing Egypt’s
infrastructure? A: Since the 1970s, ECG has been one of the leading
consulting firms in the infrastructure sector of Egypt. Due to the rapid
expansion of infrastructure projects in Egypt, the government is working
very hard to develop infrastructure at various locations.
