يخرج كل من مونتانو وجواتيانو

عطيل إن استطاع شخص تافه أن يستولى على سيفي فلا قوة لي بعد الآن. لكن لا ينبغي أن تستمر سمعتي بالشرق أطول من شرفي نفسه؟ فوداعاً لكل منهما.
إميليا ماذا كانت تعني أغنيتك يا مولاتي؟ هل تسمعنني؟ سوف أموت ها هنا إلى جوارك كطائر يغنى.
(تغني) تبكى ليلها وتشكو أساها …
لم تحنك قط أيها البربري، بل كانت تحبك أيها الرجل المتوحش. أقسم بروحي أنني أقول الحقيقة، وها أنا أموت وأنا أقول هذا.
تموت إميليا
عطيل لدى سلاح آخر في غرفتي، إنه سيف إسباني تقوى في ماء مثلج وحاد قاطع كالموسى. ها قد وصلت إليه. أنا قادم إليك يا سيدي!
جراتيانو (خارج خشبة المسرح) فلتفعل وسوف تدفع ثمن ذلك غالياً، فأنت لا تملك سلاحاً وسوف تعانى معاناة كبيرة.
عطيل انظر إلىَّ، وتحدث معي وإلا هاجمتك بدون سلاح.
يدخل جراتيانو.
MONTANO and Gratiano exit.
OTHELLO I’m not that strong, if a puny nobody can grab my sword. But why should my reputation for honor last longer than my honor did? Let it all go.
EMILIA What did your song mean, lady? Can you hear me? I’ll die like a swan. They sing when they die.
(singing) Willow, willow, willow. __
Moor, she never cheated on you. She loved you, you cruel man. I swear on my soul I’m telling the truth, and as I say this, I die.
EMILIA dies.
OTHELLO I’ve got another weapon in the room. It’s a Spanish sword, hardened in ice cold water and razor sharp. Here it is. Uncle, I’m coming out!
Gratiano (offstage) If you try that, you’ll pay for it.
You’ve got no weapon, so you’ll have to suffer.

Gratiano enters.
