ALEXBANK took its initiative “Ebda3 men Masr” one step forward and launched a strategic partnership with Egypt Network for Integrated Development (ENID) sharing the ultimate goal to empower, promote and preserve Egyptian crafts and original artwork specifically in Upper Egypt tackling issues such as job creation, skills development, and employability through the MSMEs and entrepreneurship programs. ENID is a key partner to ALEXBANK in “Ebda3 men Masr” with a full-fledged long-term project named “Cluster formation for handicrafts and entrepreneurship development in Upper Egypt” tackling job creation, skills development, employability in the SMEs and Entrepreneurship programs. The project operates in 4 villages impacting approximately 1000 beneficiaries in Qena governorate (El Osayrat, Qena city, El Gamaleya, GeziretMoteira) and contributes to the economic diversification and employment in these villages specifically via training and capacity building for specific jobs in specific product markets. This Project aims at increasing awareness among youth and especially girls on how to operate small businesses and reach the market through different channels.
