From the architect. The architectural project is clear: regular windows are those of
student housing. The large faults indicate (and light) circulations. They divide the
building different volumes whose skin reflects the context : very mineral side city,
wood forest side … Good building, simple idea, nice details, it looks like it has nothing
to hide but… It’s a timber structure building of 5 floors, placed on a pre-existing
infrastructure.
The wooden building is unmarked. This not ostentatious environmental approach was a
bit complex to implement, but it is excit ing because it shows that it is possible to build
wood without writing specific! It’s now possible to produce open, free architecture,
