AROUND THE WORLDFOR THE FIRST HUMAN VILLAGE
After more than 10 years of sincere dedication and creativity. Visual Artist/
Mohammed Haroun has reaped the fruits of his efforts by inaugurating
“Beyond the Flood” Exhibition at the Al- Ahram Foundation, the Visual Arts
Flail, amid the presence of a group of intellectuals and artists to exhibit the
largest painting around the world, the dimensions of which amount 17 m x
2.5 m, which narrates for the first time the story of our Prophet Noah after
surviving the flood, and the new life that he and his companions began.

Artist/ Mohamed Haroun revealed that he began drawing this painting more
than 10 years ago, after having found many artists around the world who
have made paintings about the story of our Prophet Noah. The paintings
depict people, animals and birds standing on the shore to ride the ship. He
therefore decided to present something new in his Painting, the story of
“Beyond the Flood”. It shows the formation of the first village on the planet
after getting off the ship.
Haroun continued, “Of course, because it is forbidden to embody the
portrait of prophets, I symbolized our Master Noah with transparent light,
and his son, Sam, the leader of the march. I chose Sam specifically as he is
the father of the Middle East, and as all of us are Semites. Thus, I was
keen on embodying the features of people in the Middle East, and including
animals and humans in the painting.
