After Sh e excelled in the design of the architectural masterpiece that won
several international awards for the head office of Trend Micro, one of the
largest information technology firms worldwide, a specific detail in that
project stood out as a revolutionary iconic landmark, great Designer and
Architect Dalia Sadany has creatively designed a hand-made abstract world
map from wrought iron. This artistic masterpiece has been manually
manufactured by Egyptian artisans with so much meticalousness and
and  professionality   that.
Trend Micro Co. made has requested the same Egyptian art piece to be re-
manufactured in several of its branches worldwide.
The design of this map is an augmentationof the main concept of the
design, the use of decon struction lines and innovative emphasis of minima’-
ism. The abstract showpiece is manufactured from waste scrap iron and it
was .It was Sadany’s bold message emphasizing on the significance of
nglected recycling whether environmentally or economically and thate
beauty could emerge from recycled materials with the eye of a designer and
the skill of artisans and professional craftsmen. This skillfulness resulted in
a masterpiece proudly bearing the words “Made in Egypt.”
After receiving praise for the design of the abstract map for Trend Micro’s
head office in Cairo, Sadany started to design another map for the
company’s branch in Australia.
