who’s leasing area is 17.000 square meters of which 60% is currently
leased out. The Hub is a special phase for restaurants and cafes only. It
represents a small part of the recurrent revenues targeted by the company
before 2020, which amount to 250 million Egyptian Pound a year . The
largest amount of these revenues is expected to be made by the trading
center established in Eastown in New Cairo, whose designs are about to be
completed. Accordingly, this trading center will be put out to tender this
year over an area of 100.00 square meters, in addition to a group of
administrative offices.
SODIC paid 605 million Egyptian pound to the New Urban Communities
Authority (NUCA) in 2016, including 505 million Egyptian pound for
Villete project and 100 million Egyptian pound for Eastown . The company
intends to pay 160 million Egyptian pound this year as installations for
Villette’s land.
Sixth of October Development and Investment Company rose the prices of
its units by 20% and 30% after the floating of exchange rates. The
company did not suffer any slowdown in sales last year, as it achieved
remarkable sales in the first half of 2016 and its projects were sold at high
rates beyond the expectations of the company. SODIC has developed many
projects and delivered profit margins.
Thus, the company achieved satisfactory results in terms of its sales and
market performance.
SODIC is searching for new mechanisms to have further businesses and
support the company through increasing the plots of land, whether through
gaining land from governmental entities or taking over new companies.
SODIC believes that the partnership system is the current trend adopted by
the state and the best one and most logic nowadays.
