This project is the easiest application of Laila’s Surprise recycling concept.
Everyone has old pieces of furniture that were passed on by parents and
even grandparents. Simply Blue offers you the simplest recipe to repurpose
these gems and you just can’t go wrong!
The shabby chic wave is submerging the furniture stores, in this project we
used an old dinning room, painted it white and stand the edges to give it a
more interesting look.
The color scheme is expressed by the title: it is a strong change of blue in
accent walls and ceilings complementing the natural color of wood and the
basic white furniture. It is simple, cost effective and yet dramatic. In
addition, local accessories and lighting give it an oriental twist and character.
