HUSSEIN SABBORUR RECORD OF SUCCESS
Eng. Hussein Sabbour is one of the most prominent businessmen in the
Middle East and owner of the largest unrivalled engineering office in Egypt.
Sabbour was named “The Engineer of Difficult Tasks” , since he has a
record of successful works everywhere.
Sabbour has contributed to the construction of several new cities, such as
6th of October, Sadat, Mokattam and New Beni Suef . He has also played a
role in carrying out the infrastructure projects of major power plants and
wastewater in different cities, such as Cairo and Suez Canal cities.
Furthermore, Sabbour has contributed to implementing the works of many
factories, particularly Tank Factory, as well as the first and second lines of
metro.
Hussein Sabbour has started his success journey in the 1950s, when he
graduated from Faculty of Engineering (Civil Engineering Department),
Cairo University in 1957. After graduation, he got diplomas in Road
Planning in 1958 and Fundamental Development in 1962.
After his graduation, Sabbour established his Bureau “Hussein Sabbour
Consulting Bureau” (HSCB) in cooperation with two of his colleagues in
Heliopolis. His first work was the design and supervision of a “tomb” of a
Christian person. Then, Sabbour was tasked with several small enterprises
and major housing projects. In 1961, Sabbour tended to build factories.
After 1967, he traveled to Libya, where he started the planning of cities
and infrastructure, which were required there.
