Credit Agricole Egypt New Head Office, New Cairo
The building structure is divided into two above ground wings; each
consists of four floors connected by a central hall through internal bridges,
highly developed building facades, and a cantilevered roof providing shade
and protection to the entrance. The complex was designed to reach the
required qualifications for LEED Platinum Level (full LEED documentation
was implemented, including feasibility studies; energy performance
requirements; energy simulation; daylight and views simulation; water
reduction strategies; native plantation selection and criteria; sustainable sites
and materials requirement; as well as many innovation ideas to achieve the
best sustainable and LEED strategies).
ECG’s scope of work included schematic design (structural & MEP),
design development, detailed design, LEED coordination, LEED
documentation, tender documents, tender action and construction
supervision.
