After the outstanding success of the previous D+1 Competitions nationally
a tFurnex   exhibition and in – ternationally   in one of the most important design
shows in the world, the respected   SaloneSatellite   of
the  Salone   Internazionale   Del   Mbile   held yearly during April in Milan,
EFEC proudly announces the launch of the New Design + Industry
Competition with the direction of   Giulio   Cappellini   who will be a main Jury
member and is the Curator of the next session of   Furnex 2017.
All designers below the age of 35 are invited to par – ticipate  with their
product design ideas, submit your best work, and you can be the
next   Cappellini .   ” The Egyptian way to design – Yesterday, today and to-
morrow” is the direction of this direction of this competition. Design – er  has
to research the great and innovative potential of the old Egyptian cultural
traditions: arts, materials, handicrafts, and technologies .
