WHY IS IT A SERIOUS STEP TOWARD ESTABLISHING THE DINAUSORUS

WHAT IS THE DINAUSORUS CITY ••• ?  
In the year 1996 I wrote a research paper about the Greater Cairo and the new
communities under the title “THENEW COMMUNITIES… ”THE SOLUTION OR THE
ROPE” Are these communities a solution for the problems that the city of Cairo
suffers from, or the rope that will strangle it? I deduced in the research that we are
living in the foundation phases of the dinosaurus city. The merge of the new
communities developing around Cairo with the cities and governorates of AI-shorouk,
10th of Ramadan, 6th of October.   AI-Sheikh Zaid , Badr , Giza, Qalyubia … etc. wiI
further lead in definite steps to the creation or a dinosaurus city that engulf all the
development attempts, and of an uncontrollable administrative body.  
That was my deduction 20 years ago. Did anything change … ? Unfortunately we have
continued using the same methodology. Moreover, we adopt today the same
methodology in establishing the new capital locating the city in the urban expansion of
the present capital, as the Housing minister said
Not only have we created a dinosaurus city, but we are also insisting on directing
all our efforts in nurturing the dinosaurus we have created to become even more
gigantic Moreover, we are still limiting Egypt in the city of Cairo.
