With regard to restaurants and commercial centers, we have carried out the
works of Egypt’s Cilantro coffee shops in Cairo, Alexandria, 6th of October
and Sharm el-Sheikh, Piccadilly in London, in addition to our projects in
Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain. Moreover,, we have
implemented the works of Diwan bookshop, Shatex , Dalydress and Suez
Cement Co. Our projects in landscape field include Designopolis on Cairo-
Alex desert road.
Q: What are your current important projects?
A: We are working on creative and distinguished projects such as Women’s
International hospital, Mangroovy Residence- El Gouna , Dream Land,
golfers Clubhouse, Wadi Fresh flagshop store and Fouka Bay North Coast.
Furthermore, we are carrying out other residential projects in El Tagamu El
Kharries , Sheikh Zayed and Ashgar City.
Q; What are prizes and awards you have won throughout your professional
career?
A: Our design house; Mona Hussein Design House – MHDH, has recently
got BID Gold Award in Paris. The is award is related to the bases of quality
management criteria and principles QC100 in terms of customer
satisfaction, business quality, data analysis, planning and follow-up,
decision-taking and human resources; ISO 9000, in addition to Gold Award
of International Civil Service (ICSC – International Council of Shopping
Centers) (MENA) for the project of Designopolis . Additionally,
MAHALLY with Mona Hussein for House Design has got Gold Award of
Po went – Positive and Negative, Award A ‘Design and Ripple Applique
Award of lighting and design products.
Q: what is your vision to develop and improve the interior design in Egypt?
A: There are many promising interior designers, and thus, there is already
renaissance in this art.
