Furthermore, Dar Al-Handasah has carried out many significant projects in
the United States of America such as UCLA (University of California, Los
Angeles), in addition to a number of medical projects there too. Throughout
its honorable history, Dar Al- Handasah’s most important projects included
“Duhok Lake Residential & Tourism Master Plan” in Iraq and “Water
Transfert   Mostaganem – Arzew, Oran” in Algeria.
Dar Al-Handasah has also taken part in ” Benguela Rivers Regulation and
Control Project” in Angola. This project required protection works for three
main rivers in Angola’s Benguela province.
In Dubai, Dar Al-Handasah designed and managed, in partnership with Dar
Group member Perkins + Will, the iconic “Concourse” for Dubai
International (DI). Dar Al- Handasah has also undertaken the design and
supervision of the construction of Anantra Palm Jumeirah and Tiara
Residences in Dubai.
Dar Al-Handasah has been taking part in the development of the New Suez
Canal Project, the largest national project undertaken by the Egyptian state.
Eng. Yahya   Zaki, Dar Al-Handasah Chairman, stresses that the objective of
this project is not only to change the 460 km of land allocated along the
banks of the Canal but also to formulate a strategy for developing the whole
area. Zaki explained that three distinguished geographical areas have been
defined, as these areas include six ports and three industrial zones in east
Port Said, El- Qantarah and Sokhna.
Dar Al-Handasah defines two specific milestone phases for the project; one
by 2030 and the second by 2050. The firm seeks to create one million job
opportunities by late 2030 and 2.4 million further jobs by the end of the
second phase.
