ARCHITECTURAL GLOBALIZATION
NON- SPATIAL IDENTITY
WHERE WE ARE GOING?!

We Wander in the streets of Arab countries watching its modern and developed
buildings, and then we evoke the memory of history through incursions into the
depths of the walls of some buildings related to the past. We find ourselves in
front of the problem in all its dimensions, a problem which is neither new nor
associated to architecture, but related to all aspects of life, a problem to which
problem many attempts have been raised to solve it theoretically and practically,
taking away terms such as originality or the revival of tradition and modernity
and…, and between this and that we will discover that we are facing a stiff
dynamic equation which factors are represented in the Arab identity and
globalization.
The second party has been made available individually while the first party did
not play its role so far as required. Here are the most important set of questions:
How the Arab Identity is a bulwark against the cultural colonialism? Is
architectural globalization one of the cultural colonialism tools? Is it
possible that Arab identity is integrated with the architectural globalization?
Or that is the equation in a permanent confrontational state? What is the
role of architectural institution?

Conference, which was held last September in Baghdad with these words, and in
this article I aimed to draw attention to some of the points contained in the
research about the terms of identity and globalization of architecture, such as
spatial and non-spatial identity, the importance and the need to move from the
architecture of globalization to architectural globalization,
