DALIA SADANY 2من اصل4
The design blends Islamic and Minimalism architecture styles and manifests a mix of
the meticulous details of ornamentedlslamic details withe ab stract elements of
minimalism. Both styles are influenced and shadowed by religious beliefs, one is Islam
with its elements of unity , divinity of the one, conservativeness while minimalism
embodies the values of Buddhism in simplicity , abstractness, space and peace. The
well-earned award was for the ability to blend these two unambiguously contradictory
flairs in
a harmonious design.
The third prominent award was a nomina tion in the Interior Design department for The
Melange family home, located in New Cairo. That truly lives up to its name, the design
blends classic French and Industrial interior design styles. It boasts a mix of the posh,
glamorous detailed French classic that is known in Parisianapartments with its vivid
colors and ornamented walls, ceil ings and detailed furniture pieces, with the industrial
style which merely celebrates manufactured basic elements known in lofts and
warehouses such as raw concrete , unfinished roofs, wooden floors, metal or concrete
beams and columns.
All 3 projects are considered a revolution in their field, mixing elements seldom
known to blend well together ending up in innovative, top-notch designs, and bringing
their designer Dalia Sadany well- earned awards. It’s also worth mentioning that the
detailed reports Sadany submit ted explaining her projects will be printed by the A’
Design Awards association to be handed out as a valuable reference to other architects
and design enthusiasts.
