A project to build the new city of Ismailia on an area of 16500 acres to be a residential city with paying attention to services in the city by surrounding it with a range of export crops and green areas to isolate the pollution and to work as windbreaks turning the city into an element of attraction for workers in the valley of technology.

The city is being built on phases to accommodate nearly half a million people. The first phase starts to accommodate about 25000 families with a totalpopulation of about one hundred thousand people.
