ARCHITECTURAL ASSSOCIATIONS AND CONTEMPORARY

CHALLENGES
to achieve the role of the architectural associations towards the life line, we
have to participate as architects- in their activities which serve that. From
this point, I am interested to participate in many of those activities,
whether; conferences, lectures, workshops or in different committees. I
introduce dissertations through my participations; to present integral ideas
with others consecutively, that to achieve that goal, whether on national,
regional, or international levels.
For instance; firstly: participating in the conference held by the Arab
Architects Association in Iraq. I submitted a research under the title “Arab
Identity vs Architectural Globalization a Gap between Concept and
Practice”. One of its most important recommendations was an award for
Arabian identity, that to prompt all those who represent the ribs of the
architectural process, to positively work toward their identity.
Secondly, my participation in the conference held by the Arab Architects
Association in Lebanon. The research was under title “Old Cities in a Hope
of a New Life Towards a Manifesto to Deal with Heritage Arab cities”. Its
main goal is to develop mechanisms for joint cooperation integrally, by
settling manifesto to deal with the heritage cities.
Tthirdly, my participation was through a seminar at the Supreme Council of
Culture titled by “Architectural associations and contemporary challenges”,
and my statement was titled by “The World Needs a New Sparkle”. That
day I suggested a new vision to move from the cooperation level to full
integration between the Egyptian Architectural Associations.
