THE ART OF DESIGN
Covering almost 23 acres in the heart of NEWGIZA, The NEWGIZA
Sport Club (NGSC) designed by NGDS
ARCHITECTS lead by AMR GHALY as a chief architect and creator is
one of the main essential hubs. With several entrances, the club allows easy
access to all nearby NEWGIZA residences.
The architecture of buildings is designed in a way to include different
elements from the surrounding neighborhoods to abide by the general
theme. Having NGSC on a low topography area compared to its
surroundings, lead to designing an all-pitched roof club to create interesting
scenes for its neighbors. Each building was designed to allow more
integration and understanding of the functionality from the open courts of
the tennis building that overlook both sides (tennis courts & football
stadium) to the open pathways and double heights in the squash building to
allow more people to watch the matches. As well as the mosque that was
created in an isolated area, away from other buildings, for extra privacy.
In addition to the main building with its huge outdoor terraces to overlook
the whole NGSC area. The general diversity in building designs and the
sports offered assures that not a single person will be left out from enjoying
a state of the art of NGSC.
