At the beginning of artist Mohamed Haroun’s life, he wanted to be an example to his grandparents,

but his father prevented him from achieving his desire, so he practiced the art of painting, which he
loved so much, and started depicting and drawing everything surrounding such as: markets, aspects of
the countryside lifestyle and customs and dances of its people..
One of the professors, who was discussing Nevn’s PhD thesis, said that artist Mohamed Haroun
shouldn’t have been included with the innate art ists: such as artist Mahmoud Said or Al-Hussein
Fawzy . The researcher replied that Haroun should be considered an example to the innate artists
be cause he has great achievements like the senior artists.
Some of the most important historical and popular paintings which were drawn by artist Mohamed
Haroun , included: Bilquis the Queen of Sheba, the Egyptian horse surrounding by enemies – maker of
pies – lantern maker – lemon seller – seller of Gelati (frozen ice-cream) – mourning, etc.
After all those works of arts, artist Haroun drew the biggest painting in the world entitled “Noah’s
Ark”
