Signs a protocol on cooperation with the AUC and Cairo University in the
presence of secretary of Cairo Governorate
A big event- entitled “Be a pioneer” – was organized in Ewart Hall at the
American University in Cairo (AUC) during which Architect Dalia Sadany’s
Association targeting Society and Youth Development signed a protocol on
cooperation with the American University in Cairo and Cairo University.
More than 3 ,OOO students from different Egyptian universities, and a big
number of Cairo Governorate officials, at the forefront of them was the
governorate Secretary Maj. Gen. Mohamed AI- Bendary , attended the
event.
During her speech, Architect Dalia Sadany , President of the Milan – based
International Association of Designers (IAD), said that the protocol aims to
develop young people’s experiences and talents, as well as finding them
jobs that help them play a role in the development of the Egyptian society
Dalia added, “I had a big number of plans, Including youth – oriented
initiatives such as FYE “Future of Young Egyptians” initiative that has
been launched in November 2013 and was extremely successful in
motivating college students across Egypt, as well as my architectural
projects, particularly those related to reviving Egypt’s effaced architectural
character of squares and streets known as “Face of Egypt”.
and also the glamorous Cairo design Biennale that took place in June 2014
celebrating Egyptian Pioneers in all fields of creativity, which luckily has
been approved by the Egyptian government to be an annual event after
having such an immense impact & success locally and internationally, but
