then explained the problems concerning the shortage of water in Egypt,
therefore there is a must to find solutions to deal with the problem, else the
ghost of thirst will hunt Egyptian’s future, it is already affected the
agriculture one of the most important sources of income for Egypt, the
government start to put restrictions on planting the rice for example because
it use a lot of water, then the lecture gives an overall view on the
international concerns with saving water and scoped on the international
and national rating systems for saving energy including the water
management at the end there was recommendation to encourage engaging
more buildings in the rating systems through decreasing the taxes on these
building who apply the rating systems.
In the second session Ideal Standard representatives Mr. Samir El Sayed
and Mr. Mohamed Salah start to show the stainary products that save water
and it’s mechanism of working concerning the taps and flushing systems
through the design and sensors, also the lecture show the economic aspect
and how it is affordable with comparison to the other that are not saving
water at the end there was recommendation to save water to guarantee a
better future. At the end there was time for the student’s questions and
open discussion
