Chamber of Commerce is an official Foundation of private resources that oversees trade and investment activity. It was established to create a unified organized authority organization to represent private sector enterprises. Therefore it represent a liaison between traders and authorities concerned with trade and economic activity in order to solve the trade problems, in addition to, follow up the conditions of goods in stock and contribute to the solution of problems that impede the availability of any commodity in stock and so on.
Formation of Chambers of Commerce :
Chambers of Commerce were established by a resolution of the Minister of Commerce in which he determines the location of headquarter of the chamber and its jurisdiction and number of members; it should not be less than eight and not more than twenty four.
The Minister of Economy and Trade is authorized to name half of the members per each room and the other half of the members is chosen by general secret ballot.
