Over 60 years, Dar Al-Handasah carried out leading projects with
continuous success and innovation in the fields of engineering, architecture,
planning, ecology, economics and management of projects to become one
of the pioneering entities in these areas. Beirut-based Dar Al- Handasah
“Shair Partners” was established in 1956 and started expansion through
having 40 local representative offices in the largest cities of the Middle
East, Africa, Asia and Europe and created five main design offices in
Beirut, Cairo, London, Pune and Amman. Accordingly, Dar Al- Handasah
has become a global company and establishes Handasah has now about
193 offices spread in 100 countries worldwide.
Based on the dreams and aspirations of its founder late professor Kamal al-
Shair, Dar Al-Handasah has become a multinational institution that offers
global services and competes with international consultancies. Today, Eng.
Talal al- Shair is the chairman of Dar Al- Handasah who leads the institution
to make unceasing great achievements. Under Talal’s leadership, Dar Al-
Handasah has made significant success with revenues of $2.4 billion in
2015.
During the past 10 years, Dar Al-Handasah was a symbol of excellence and
innovation through providing prefect planning and creative designs with
aspirations for the future. Throughout its professional activities, Dar Al-
Handasah has adopted the ambitions, needs and imagination of its clients to
turn them into reality.
Dar Al-Handasah has several local, regional and global projects in the last
10 years, including Lebanon’s Litani River, Riyadh Metro in Saudi Arabia,
Atlantic City in Nigeria, Sheikh   Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah Causeway in
Kuwait.
The projects also included Cambambe Hydroelectric Project in Angola,
Aqaba New Port in Jordan and Algeria East-West Highway.
