For many years, businesses have been struggling for wider recognition in
the global market, an environment where visions and voices can be fade out
in the overwhelming matrix of brands out there for consumers to choose
form. Such is the story for many, but standing out was never a challenge
for one company only, DAR Designs.
2016 was a big year for the ever-expanding architectural and interior design
firm Dar Designs, founded by Arch. Mohamed Al Abagy and Arch.
Ibrahim Goma in 2007. Now having offices in Dubai, London, Cairo, and
Qatar.
Dar Designs collected even more internationals awards this season, in
addition to taking on a number of ambitiuous projects, setting the firm’s
path to being a global brand that will reshape and rethink the nature of
architectural profession as it exists in the region.
Earlier in 2016, DAR Designs, already being the winner of Luxury
Lifestyle and International Property Awards from previous year, followed
up these victories with winning the Africa & Arabia Property Awards 2016
by scoring first place in three different categories including “Architecture
Residence”, “Interior Apartment”, and “Leisure Architecture”. This moment
of triumph marked the beginning of a string of new successes with DAR
Designs as a firm would enjoy.
It was after winning the Africa and Arabia international Property Awards
for a second time a row that the DAR Awards had also begun to take
interest in DAR Designs as a potential candidate for winning its prestigious
business leadership awards. Yet again, DAR Designs rose to the occasion
by winning the DAR Rewards at a lavish event at the Palace Downtown
Hotel in Dubai, covered in the media by The Economist, Harvard Business
Review,
