Designing a sustainable &-friendly public toilet

COMMERCIAL DESIGN COMPETITION
FOLLOWED BY ALI DAGHER
In collaboration with the Society of Egyptian Architects, Center of
Sustainability and Future Studies – British University in Egypt, NEXT
DESIGN Magazine, ACFF organization and IDEAL Standard, ICS hosted
a competition for coming up with high-value competitive design that can
support the Egyptian commercial product under the title “Designing a
sustainable environment-friendly public toilet’: In addition to a set of
financial awards, winning designs are introduced to business partners for
exploring possibilities of commercial production.
ELIGIBLE SPECIALIZATIONS
Participants belonged to fields such as architectural design, art direction,
commercial design, plastic arts and civil engineering Invitation Participation
invitations were circulated in the social media and most of the Egyptian
universities Response
We received 1,460 subscriptions applications.
