As for the Ismailia canal, the southern bank can be exploited as a walking
exhibit to display the history of the Suez canal from the beginning of the
digging process to its current status through murals, sculptures and ground
inscriptions, along with benefiting from the facade of the northern bank as it
contains Villa of Delecips , Fawzan bek and the Suez canal management
headquarters. The pathway is characterized by the availability of its usage
by all ages, exercising, biking path, children’s playground and other areas
for fests, celebration and open cinema. The pathway is divided into three
Plazas, the first facing Ahmed Oraby street and Sala bridge and includes the
marina of the Ismailia canal and the sitting area, the second Plaza opposing
the Sultan Hussein street and the third Plaza containing the festival stands,
open cinema and fishing area and the end of the Ismailia canal water way.
