Egyptian Visual Artist
It took artist EhabLotfi throughout his entire artistic experience which
lasted for more than 24 years of working on the Egyptian cultural and
historical heritage, searching exploring and renovating through his individual
and collective exhibitions using different materials of Several influential
methods of realism, cubism and abstract arts trying to combine those
schools together in the crucible of Egyptian inherently where the spectator’s
eyes cannot mislead from the first sight.
He stamped his journey with a series of art exhibitions for the Nuba , which
amounted to 6 Exhibitions till now Artist EhabLotfi depends in his paintings
on the line to highlight the idea and techniques of color from red dirt, black,
brown and white to reduce color and ease its arrival to the receiver simply.
Artist’s work is a mixture of realism, abstraction, cubism and sometimes
symbolism sometimes through the threads of Egyptian civilization authentic
review, with its Pharaonic legacy, popular and architectural decorative style.
The artist concluded the Nubian phase in his last exhibition with his set of
black and white collection in acrylic material and sketches. He said that as
long as he controlled the line and the painting’s design, using the simplest
lines with clarity of the idea, this can be re-drafted again, using various
kinds of colors such as oil paints, acrylic, coal or water colors.
