EL REHAB ENGLISH NATIONAL SCHOOL

Based on an evolution of the standard high-market design, tl-re purpose for
this project was to provide an innovative, economical and efficient all-
through school, whilst providing the best possible educational spaces for
2,500 students with total built up area 18,900 Sq. meter over plot area
21,000Sq. meter in EL Rehab city. Our approach ensures a high quality of
both the internal and external environment that reflects and enhances the
user experience tor each of the different academic age programs.
The design focused on ensuring that all areas were seen as engaging and
inspirational, providing “positive spaces” both internally and externally, to
foster teaching and learning opportunities. Emphasis was also placed on
integration, energy efficiency and durability to reduce high operating and
maintenance costs most classrooms are laid out on a north & east
orientation to minimize solar heat gains and provide a dis have expo, sure to
internal courtyards to maximize natural daylight. As a general strategy, the
school is designed on lingers which introduces greenery and natural light to
the interior whilst promoting natural ventilation and easy access to the
landscaped courtyards.
