Emaar environmental policies are based upon the strict operational criteria
for guaranteeing minimizing the effects on the environmental system where
we work. Accordingly, Emaar does its best to educate and raise the
awareness of employees, contractors, suppliers and the society, in general,
about the effects of works on the environment surrounding the projects. In
fact, Emaar primarily focuses on the responsible behavior to limit any
possible negative impacts on the natural environment.
In 2011, according to Guinness World Records, Emaar won the title of the
“Largest LED-Illuminated Fagade’ on the world’s tallest man-made
structure” (Burj   Khalifa) during the NYE celebrations.
Moreover, Emaar has got several awards, prizes and certificates, such as
“The Best Real Estate Development Company Award”, in addition to its
flagship “The Address Downtown Dubai” project which won the “World’s
Best Hotel Award”.
Emaar Technologies won ISO/1EC quality certifications in recognition of
its excellent systems of Information Technology, Furthermore, the
Company’s project ” Emaar Square” carried out in Turkey won The Best
Multiuse Architecture Award” in Europe and “The Best Multi-use
Architectural Design Award in Turkey.
Additionally, Armani Dubai Hotel won ‘The World’s Most Famous Hotel
Award”, The Address Hotels and Resorts won ‘The Best Hotel Series
Award” in the Middle East, The Address Downtown Dubai won The
World’s Best Hotel Award” for the third consecutive year according to the
tenth survey of Global Traveler magazine, and ARMANI/ RISTORANTE
wan “The Best Italian Restaurant Award” for the third consecutive year;
Timeout Dubai Awards for the best restaurants.
