(residential – cultural – educational – competitions…), where these groups sorted under
two main categories, they are: completed projects and future projects. On the first
day, the Judgments comity will discuss the projects; each contestant will present his
project in 10 minutes and the questions in 8 minutes. A project of each category (30
projects) will compete for two prizes, the first is for the completed buildings and the
second is for the future projects. The winners will be announced at the main event
which will be attended by elite architects of the world, 800 senior architects included,
who have been invited.
Partners and supporters..
Serious participation in international architectural events is a participation of the
architect’s country as well and
an opportunity for the integration of people for a better quality of life worldwide. From
this perspective and in recognition of social responsibility, the participation is
supported by a group of entities as partners, they are: Ideal Standard, Egypt Air,
Egyptian Architects Association and Egyptian Engineers Syndicate.
Why Science City Project..?
We agreed that our participation in this year’s competition should be through the
Science City Competition thesis; because it is connected to Egypt particularly, and the
world and sciences in general, the world in the high position to recall the civilization
…!!
The competition was organized by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in cooperation with the
UIA, It was judged and announced in August 2016, and our project was chosen among
the top 20 projects in the competition. The idea of the project was crystallized as
«Egypt, the roots of sciences.
We are going to Berlin with an invitation to all the participants and attendees in the
celebration, in order to invite them to a journey to Egypt where the roots of science and
knowledge,
