Global Entrepreneurship Week 20L2lticlts off in Egypt

The Middle East Council for Small Businesses and Entrepreneurship
(MCSBE) organized this year’s Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2412 in Egypt.
Scarcely attended by businessmen and young entrepreneurs, the opening
ceremony took place today at the Sawy Culture Wheel in Zamalek as
the   kick off of 95 entrepreneurial events, seminars and competitions, which will be
taking place all over Egypt for the next week. Nanotechnology is the enabling
technology that allows us to develop materials with improved or totally new properties.
Changing the properties of material particles without affecting their chemical
composition can now be easily achieved utilizing nanotechnology. The building and
construction sector will inevitably be a benefits management agreement with Delta for
Tourism & Hotels Company to introduce a new Hilton Hotels & Resorts property to
the city of Alexandria. The new 158-room Hilton Alexandria Corniche , a conversion
property, is expected to open as a Hilton branded hotel in 2013 and will Launch 0f The
Keeper, Artist The keeper, a limited edition artist book tells the story of an encounter
with Mustafa, a young street vendor in downtown Ramallah who sells images culled
from the Internet to the public. Mustafa’s family has always worked in the photo
business, bringing images from China, Lebanon and Syria into Palestine. Going through
the images left over from the past six years, the book reflects back at moments in
contemporary Palestinian popular and political history. MCSBE partnered up with
several universities, corporations, and NG0s in the entrepreneurial sector in an attempt
to malke   this the best GEW yet.
The opening ceremony’s most Prominent attendees were Ashraf Sheta, Head of
MCSBE, Mohamed Abdel   Moneim   ElSawy , Founder of Sawy Culture Wheel,
Amr   Gohar , Senior Vice President of the International Council for Small Businesses,
Omar Sabbour , Chairman of the Egyptian Junior Businessmen Association, and Abdel
Rahman   Magdy , Founder and CE0 of Egypreneur.
