The Greater Cairo Metro Line 4 is one of the National Authority of Tunnels
is Egypt’s projects which is a joint funded project between the Egyptian
Government and Japan International Cooperation Agency JICA.
Phase 1 comprises a 19 km track line and 17 stations and 1 Depot. EHAF
conducted the design for the depot, which is the biggest depot for the
Greater Cairo Metro and acted as the Local Partner for the Japanese
Consortium for the PM/CM scope for the whole phase. The project
construction duration is 8 years.
