THE NATIONAL ACADEMY FOR SCIENCE & SKILLS – NASS
NASS is an innovation-focused, people-centered organization specialized in
training and continuous development, offering tested channels towards
leadership and competitive productivity to both companies and individuals
NASSVISION
To be recognized regionally as the human resources factory for producing
professional technical and intellectual assets with international standards
capable of adding value to industry and the community.
STATE OF THE ARTS FACILITIES
NASS has invested in building an extensive campus composed of several
schools and support buildings totaling over 12,000 square meters on a
32,000 square meter site. The workshops and labs of the schools are
furnished with state of the arts training equipment and resources.
The first phase of this complex has been inaugurated in December 2012.
The second and final phase is due for completion by 2014.

This submitted design aims to achieve three key objectives represent base
of the design approach and philosophical proposal for the new building as
follows:
First: To reach the design achieves efficiently and distinguish the different
functional requirements of the project.
Second: The development of spaces and elements that serve efficiently the
Academy users.
Third: Achieve building reflects the Egyptian architectural values and
reflects the modern architecture of Egypt and respects the nature of the
climate in this region, as well as taking into account the implementation of
the project at different time phases.
DESIGN CONCEPT
“The objective of this project is to design a training ACADEMY that caters
mostly to the vocational training needs of industry. It is a multidimensional
institution that integrates theoretical and practical knowledge. The design
reflects the special concept of this academy which differs from the
traditional vocational training centers:’
