Due to improving economic growth and the influx of more tourists,
construction in the North and Sub- Saharan Africa hospitality sector is set
to skyrocket. In North Africa, 77 hotels and 19,000 rooms are already
being built while in Egypt, 20 new hotels and 6,463 rooms are in the
pipeline. As part of its hotel upgrade efforts, countries such as Tunisia and
Algeria plan to invest approximately USD $6.2 billion over the coming
decade.
