Porto Aghadir’s towers design concept is based on recalling the old light
house tower, which is considered as one of the most significant elements of
the Dead sea region.
Porto Dead Sea is considered as one of the biggest projects in Jordan, its
site area is across 805774 m2 overlooking the Dead Sea beach &
mountains, in a very unique and unprecedented location, it is
tucked between the mountains and the Dead Sea. The project design is
based on -Desert Islands-concept, creating Multi integrated islands hanging
on the mountain. Porto Dead Sea is designed to be a focal touristic
attraction for locals and foreigners alike.
ElGabaly Architects undertook the task of Qreparing the Master Plan
Development for Phase 1 of the Dead Sea Development Zone. The
planning and design approach focused on creating a sustainable
development model for the Dead Sea Development Zone resulting in a
master plan which places equal consideration on design excellence,
technical soundimess, and financial viability.
The plan represents the highest quality of design vision and application in
order to inspire, excite, and engender pride of place. Technically, the plan
responds to its physical context dimate , topography, views), sustainability
issues (renewable energy, water management, ecological conservation) as
well as any anticipated regulatory issues. The concept was for built areas to
naturally merge into the surroundings appearing as terraces in the
landscape. A Mountain Park, Cross area about 30 000 m2 , located on the
Second Plateau on the mountain with high level 70 m above the regional
moads and comprising the largest aqua Porto and theme park in the dead
sea developments and has a unique identity for this type of projects all over
the world, hence the full integrated between the water and theme parks
games and activities and the existing mountain nature while enjoying the
dead sea horizon view and also the downtown view below. The hotel will
also house a high-tech business center and versatile meeting and events
facilities, including a ballroom with area about 1000 m2
