Giza Company for Real Estate Development” is considered the pioneer of
the building and construction sector is currently executing a project known
as “New Giza” city. This project aims to revive and renew the spirit of
“old” Giza by providing the standards and quality of life available in any
integrated communities in terms of distinctive location, services integration
along with self-sufficiency.
New Giza is located on Cairo-Alex desert road – 22 kilometers away from
the Haram plateau- and close to Dream Land and El Sheikh Zayed cities.
The city is approximately 6.5 million square meters with a total investment
volume of 25 billion Egyptian pounds. It is considered as an integrated
residential city with luxurious and touristic facilities. The city will include 9
neighborhoods, a considerable number of villas, town house, golf course,
international university, two hotels, sports club, an administrative district
along with a fun area that has theatres and restaurants. The city will have
its very own eco-friendly subway as well.
The total capital of “Giza for Real Estate Development” is up to 4 billion
Egyptian pounds. The structure of the company is distributed as follow:
40% for the Qatari “AL Deyyar” company, 30% for the Libyan Investment
fund, and 30% for two Egyptian entrepreneurs.
The total number of residential units and villas which would be carried out
in “New Giza” is around 7000 deluxe units. The project will be executed in
7 years, and will be finished by 2020. The company is currently working
around the clock to finalize the fifth phase of the construction in the
project.
The land allocated for administrative, commercial and hotel utilization is
estimated to be around 840 thousand meters.
