SCIENCE PRAK IN THE VALLEY OF THCHNOLOGY
This project is a science park in the valley of technology; it considered as
an important step toward the development of Sinai and east of El Kontora
on the middle axe (Ismailia/ El Agwa ) which is important to protect Sinai
and transport about 3.2 million persons to live in Sinai and leave Delta. The
site is distinguished by being linked to series of massive national projects of
global interest and big investments, the project is planned to accommodate
groups of projects that rely on high-tech in electronics, software,
communication and another projects based on knowledge and technology.
The park is composed of four types of researches, agricultural zone with
vertical farm, residential zone, parking zone, reception zone entertainment
zone, Student Park and a green sustainable path. The design of Science
Park takes into account some important points :
1. Make the science park as a landmark for the entire region.
2. Benefit of the topography of the site in urban landscape.
3. Choose types of research in Science Park which serve the industrial
zone in the valley of technology.
4. Make it a place where people engaged in serious work can relax de-
stress, commune with nature and carry out their business in more
conducive environments.
5. Effective participation in the development projects of the state because
the
role of each individual in society is efficient contribution in the current
projectand providence new and innovative ideas especially in the field of
urban development.
6. Attracting capitals and investments which increase the strength of the
state’s economic competitiveness. \
7. Reduced ecological footprint.
8. Benefit of all natural elements of the site (water, sun, wind, topography).
9. Interest in sustainable development as a general principal in urban
planning and design field.
10. Creating axes of regional developed strategy industry work on
accommodating the surplus of population in Ismailia and provinces of the
canal region.
