Is worth mentioning that each competition has difficulties in decision-making and today
have shed light on projects presentation and the deport of the Jury of global
competition for the Science City «in 6th October in Giza». It is not a project
competition but an international competition for a comprehensive planning with design
architectural ideal integrating in three stages. Each stage allows operating the Science
city in the framework of a comprehensive plan to achieve progress, complementary and
compatible growth with stage funding for the project.
The useful abstract of reference conditions for
the competition includes the following features:
The location at 6th October City is parallel to oases Road / Giza.
The location area is about 30 acres equivalent to 124.994 square meters. There is 30%
equivalent BUA 37.49 m from it used for the construction of ground floor and three
floors.
The architecture program requires spaces for built floors about 85,000 square meters
and the Science Park for outdoor display which is about 88,000 square meters.
The key components of the Architectural program are 8 Buildings + Observatory
Tower.
Each competitor should submit 8 paintings with A1-size.
Each competitor should submit a report of 20-page with A3 size.
The main challenge for the competitor is to submit the project in a comprehensive plan
of three phases corresponded to the financing interim. Every stage is a scientific
operating campus.
