The platform of investment and development
desalination, recycling, transportation, and using technology to provide most
services to the residents, with the vision of gradually allowing the transition
of most cities to new urban cities
Dr. Mona Kamal , the head of quality sector in the ministry of
environment, has added that the ministry is participating in the conference
is for the sole aim of attracting investments for intelligent cities, which will
preserve the environment and humans by turn. This is one of the main
goals of Egypt’s plan for sustainable development 2030. She also
confirmed that the ministry is keen on implementing the latest technologies
in building these cities. She pointed out that the ministry started carrying
out a number of projects in the field of transportation, such as
implementing 11 electronic signs for 11 garages downtown, which point out
the empty lots for parking in order to avoid wasting time and traffic jam
caused by searching for an empty lot.
Mohamed Sultan, the governor of Behaira , indicated that the conference
is a change for encouraging investment in intelligent, green and new urban
communities. He stressed that the governorate seeks to have its own
intelligent cities through building a firm and intelligent infrastructure for the
existing industrial cities to facilitate investment, specially that the
governorate has fertile environment and strategic locations on Cairo – Alex
road, wadi   EINa-troun , Abo   ElMatameer , Badr city and the coastal
international road.
