With the finesse of Mohamed Fares’ design for a perfect culinary getaway
on the North coast, Cairo’s one and only Sachi has been taken by the sea!
The close collaboration and fine tuning with Sachi owner Ayman   Baky has
created a stunning, laid-back full experience where all senses are inspired
and satisfied.
The design was conceived more as a shell that allowed the fresh breeze to
travel the openness of the space, forming bonds between the beach and the
sea, the shadows and the light. The randomly placed raw wooden planks
are a part of the shell and are used as a lighting feature after sunset, adding
a golden shimmer to the outside darkness of the night.
Once inside the shell, one cannot help but feel deeply connected to nature
where an effortless harmony prevails as a general ambiance.
The predominantly white theme reflects Mohamed Fares’ intention to focus
on purity and simplicity that speaks for itself. But he also wanted the
interior to move with day into the night by using accessories such as
colorful cushions and fabrics that were carefully chosen and placed in
selected areas to break up the whiteness and add a splash color to the
changing light.
A unique eating experience in a friendly and warm setting with unparalleled
service and quality – add jazzy tunes, ethnic and lounge beats – an
unbeatable combination! Just as Mohamed Fares and Ayman   Baky.
Mohamed Fares intended to make guests feel the experience of “being in
the here and now” at all times and not the design .
Hisskilled use of iconic ingredients such as the red ropes at the ceiling and
red curtains add a unique accent that complements the overall .
Enjoying a full panoramic view one feels sheltered by the discreet structure
and yet immersed in the openness .
