To think in a building for 6th October city is important to remark the signs of time and
their meanings.
The architecture carries the mark of time, place, knowledge, mathematical logic to
abstraction.
The architectural proposal seeks to enhance the pure geometric shape by the sense of
wisdom and by the geometric precision made by our ancestors.
The main idea is to counter the conventional logic of disconnected buildings that are
based on the polygon and propose hollow spheres, that only ore possible by the modern
construction techniques, symbolizing the shape of all the astros.
One with a height of 45 meters, has the main function of observatory and landmark for
the project, from which is possible to see a great line of horizon and itspyramids . The
other, towards this ancient monument, has a greater dimension diameter of 220 meters.
Infiltrated into the ground, it holds the Science City that is composed by multiple ample
lit spaces, ventilated and conditioned, revealing the current knowledge and the planet
itself that makes up the universe still unknown, requesting our attention.
The occupation of the site is done through two elements: The Observation Tower and
Science Campus. The buildings were designed to work separately, allowing greater
flexibility concerning its uses. However, they’re connected by an elevated walkway that
gives them cohesion. This walk-way, which has access in the lower level of the site, is
the main entry to observation tower and also allows the visitor to enter the Science
Campus.
