* What are the support aspects from the state as a source to Sphinx Glass?
Unfortunately, till now there is no support from the state, either in the basic inputs of
glass industry compared to a country like Turkey, which is a strong competitor to
Egypt in this industry where Turkish factory gets a support from the Turkish state by
20% production inputs cost, or in energy, we are accountable with five dollars per
million thermal units of gas compared to a country like Algeria with one dollar, and
Saudi Arabia with 1.75 dollars; it is also a strong competitor.
Even foreign exhibitions, it is supposed for companies to have strong support
encouraging it to participate in these exhibitions, while in fact it does not happen but we
have a strategic decision to export and wait for decisive and immediate decisions from
the government that we hope well in the Ministry of Eng./   Sherif Ismail, where he has
begun to make decisions serving Egyptian industry.
