Moreover, the Arab Contractors is implementing a two development
projects of Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport and Hurghada
International Airport in coordination with the Egyptian Ministry of Civil
Aviation. Such projects are part of great attention paid by the political
administration to the airports due to their prominent role in supporting
comprehensive development and tourism sector. AC has been taking part
in implementing all works required for the projects; including detection
devices and constructional and architectural changes required to strengthen
the security systems in accordance with the latest methods of global
technologies. The projects’ total cost is EGP120 million. Furthermore, the
Arab Contractors is currently executing the largest tunnel project in Port
Said-Ismailia; to be the world’s largest project. This project includes 6
tunnels, whose execution has been already started, while the project will be
completed within two years with estimated total cost of EGP 35 billion.
EGYCO is the current most prominent consortium with the Arab
Contractors in New Tushka Project, which will be delivered in the coming
days. AC also forms a consortium with Moukhtar Ibrahim Co. in projects
carried out in New Al Alamein City.
The Arab Contractors’ capital in the fiscal year 2015/2016 reached EGP14
billion and it is targeted to go up to EGP16 billion in the coming fiscal year.
The Arab Contractors has long experience in carrying out projects in
African countries such as Chad, Guinea, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Zambia
and Botswana. AC is currently carrying out a large package of major
projects in the Gulf countries; including Al-Jahra Road Project and Al
Sabah Hospital in Kuwait, to be completed by June 30th, 2016. Moreover,
AC has projects in Saudi Arabia with one billion Saudi riyals.
