In Iraq, the Arab Contractors implemented road projects in Basra, as AC’s
works in Iraq accounted for $400 million. Additionally, there are further
projects to be carried out in Iraq in the coming period. In Libya, AC
withdrew from all projects due to the current bloody conflicts in this Arab
country.
Given its great history in the fields of building, construction and
contracting, the Arab Contractors was ranked 105th among the Top 250
International Contractors in 2014 according to ENR Magazine, and
occupied the 136th position among the Top 250 Global Construction
Companies in the same year. Furthermore, AC was granted the medal of
Merit of the First Class in recognition of its efforts in the construction of
two fast track tunnels, El-Orouba and El- Thawra tunnels, in Cairo.
