The architectural photography considers the architectural work as the
reality from which the photographer starts to achieve his vision. So the
architectural photographer should fully understand the architectural work so
that he can highlights its aesthetics and distinctiveness while holding the
ideas and philosophy that he wants to deliver.
Since its invention, photography had a profound impact on architectural
practice. Especially with the emerging of modernity in the twenties of the
twentieth century, and that created a convergence between architecture and
photography. Architects have relied largely on photography for presentation
of architectural projects, as well as documentation. Currently, we can
notice that the architectural culture, both of architects or public rely mainly
on the image more than anything else. Photography also played a great role
retaining and documenting architectural heritage since the beginning of the
twentieth century which was difficult to document without photography.
