“The first feature of this painting is being characterized by large groups of
people,” according to Desouki statements; “It is not just drawings of a man
or a woman, but they are human beings expressing emotions and features
of joy, pain and tranquility. Although Mohamed Haroun is an instinctive
self-taught artist, he ob served all the artistic rules followed by any
professional artist, which is deemed to be the second characteristic of this
work. This is the result of his sound innate sense, which made him a
dstinguished visual artist who takes care of the shadow and the i light and
the combinations between the characters generated by one another inside
the painting.
Visual Artist/ Ahmed Abdel-Gawad described his presence to witness this
monumental work as “A dream that Artist Mohamed Haroun turned it into
a fact, which restores the civilization of the p ast 7000 years.” He praised
Haroun’s ability to “provide a wonderful and neat work carrying a sense of
reality, motion and silence, especially that no man or animal or bird was left
but mentioned in a nice story using fabulous colors”.
