The plan includes the establishment of an international commercial city for transportation, a containers and ships maintenance centre, business centers for commercial and financial companies, tourist centers, exhibitions and the city of science. It also includes a joint industrial zone with international companies, companies for fish aqua culture, establishment of a residential city as well as the completion of developing the port of East Al Tafreaa.
