THE BIGGER PICTURE The proposed town is not the end, but the
beginning of a series of relatively smaller urban communities to be
established at strategic locations and near existing cities and towns (near the
beach whenever possible). As the very process – but not the product – can
be applied at other locations like Elismaelya, Port-Saed , Elalamien , Marsa-
Matrouh , Ras-Ghareb , Hurgada , Safaga , Elariesh or any other existing
town near the beach. Hence the result will be a balanced, decentralized
urban development that changes Egypt from being singular pole, to a
multiple poles country.
